Fascinated by the cosmos, by our galaxies and those beyond, Peter is intrigued by the debate about other life existing beyond our planet.
Some years ago, before Damien Hurst sent his artwork into space on the ill-fated Beagle mission, Peter was asked his greatest ambition - and it was to have an exhibition of his work on Mars!

As a result of this interest, Peter developed his Cosmic collection. Work includes his Cosmic Trees, and the Stargazers series. Also in this Cosmic collection are the Starseeds and Starburst sculptures. These pieces incorporate the idea of regeneration of life, with stars, like seeds, bursting forth from the opening pod.
